The consistency of doing one thing each, and every day, has a multiplying effect by the end of the year.
I was given this book by a colleague of mine and let me tell you... it was AMAZING! The entire book was engaging and inspiring. As you are reading it, even if you have not gone through the same experiences, it is very simple to relate to experiences of your own. You cannot read this book and NOT learn something about yourself.
Laura Manning
I've done all of these things and so much more. In this book I share, from my heart, my most inspiring and emotional experiences - good and bad, successful and unsuccessful.
At the end of each story, I share the insights and lessons I have learned from each experience.
Most of my insights are from successes I have had. Others are a result of extremely difficult situations that I found myself in, and the painful decisions I needed to make. I share what I learned during my amazing adventures, so you may apply the same lessons in your own wonderful life.
Mostly, though, I want to help you understand that you are in control of your own life, simply by the powerful choices you make. You can make it as adventurous and fulfilling as you want it to be. You don't have to be Superman or Superwoman. You just have to believe in yourself and see how incredibly worthy you are. Let me help you do just that.
All of the insights I share have helped guide me throughout my life. As you read on, you will learn more about me, my values, and my true soul.
My goal is that the stories will ignite your soul and inspire you to live your life to the fullest.
The intense and chaotic start of a triathlon
Eventually everything calms down and I have some space of my own. The water is crystal clear, and I can easily see 40 feet below. The colors of the fish are brilliant – vibrant yellow, electric blue, with a variety of stripes. Even though I am in this competitive state I cannot ignore the beauty beneath me – it is almost hypnotic – but I have to remain focused on the task at hand. This is way better than the Pan Am swimming pool I am used to training in while living in Winnipeg, Canada.
The day I had dedicated to selling to Millionaires!
He stood up at the front of the seminar room holding up a one-dollar bill and asked the question, “If I could guarantee to give you this dollar bill in five years, how much would you pay for it today?
People started shouting numbers like 10 cents, 25 cents, 5 cents and so on. Then someone said, “I will give you a penny.” Raymond said, “SOLD!”
Creating a Legacy for Uncle Eddie
Uncle Eddie was a wonderful human being. He did not have a mean bone in his body and was always jovial. He had recently retired and was in his late 70’s when he died. He spent many years as a used-car salesman and once you met him it was obvious why he was so well suited for that. He was the kind of man who just immediately put a smile on your face and made you feel at ease.
